We will start our Santiago Authentic Tour with a visit to La Vega Central Market by car, passing through Bellavista and Recoleta streets. We will stop at La Vega Market to visit some fruit and vegetables stands. We will then drive to the area of Peñalolen passing by Providencia and Tobalaba streets, where we will visit one small working and modest neighborhood in Santiago. There, a grandmother will greet us with “Chilean Empanadas” and a glass of Chilean wine or juice. This is the proper way to see how picturesque this part of Santiago. With this in mind, we will continue to a typical artisans´s village called “El pueblito de los Dominicos“. We will drive though “La Reina Alta” to appreciate the real beauty of Los Andes Mountains.

The Bellavista neighborhood is the main bohemian and cosmopolitan center of Chile. It is located right in the center of Santiago where thousands of people gather to share in their many bars for all tastes. Here is also “La Chascona”, one of the houses of the poet Pablo Neruda.
We will continue our tour of Vega Central, the largest market in Chile and, according to the prestigious ranking of “dailymeal” is the fourth best market in the world. Their smells and colors are mixed in a wonderful gastronomic show that we will love. We can appreciate an immensity of authentic fruits and vegetables in a typical Chilean place that reflects its culture and idiosyncrasy.
Then we will continue through the streets of Santiago to the commune of Peñalolén, located in the eastern sector of the city. Composed of both low-middle and middle-high socioeconomic sectors, this place is a place of contrasts that can reflect the Chilean society. We will meet in this place a granny who will welcome us to her house and share with us a glass of wine and empanadas.
After this cozy visit we will continue towards the sector of Las Condes where we will be able to appreciate the contrasts of the whole city. We will arrive at a village of craftsmen where we will be able to cross the different positions and crafts. Optionally we can have lunch at the place.
